Idk if it helps but my eyebrow routine is like;
I use like two different eyebrow pencil where the one is v light and can suit blondes for the edge near nose, and one darker brown tone on the opposite edge. Usually start and use most the light ones to make it seem more natural and apply darker one after & blend. After that finish to use consealer or foundation around the eyebrows/esp where the darker edge is far from the nose if that makes sense n blend. 

It sucks to have dark brown hair n no eyebrows, praying for us
But tbh the ones u make fits u well, i dont see the prob
This sounds smart 
ive ended up looking like breznjev in early teen days when the v light one wasnt used n thought i only go for dark ones because of my hair

when it comes to getting the shape right - experiment and practice a lot lot lot
eyebrows take so much work but the satisfaction u feel once u finally get them right >>>>

the shape is amazinggg
my left eyebrow is too long and my right eyebrow is cut in half from the time i sneezed and hit my head and split it open and it left a scar on my eyebrow so there is. no hair there whatsoever
