I remember a lot of talk about why you got banned and for some of them I was like ... that's so the opposite of the Lab I know, like HOW??? and then they were getting more and more extreme with the same narrative (like that fish that got bigger every time the story about his catch got retold) and I realised: people don't know shit, they're just looking for reasons

lmao it really did go from 'this person is vocal about not finding wearing dark skins 2 be blackfishing' to 'this person hates all poc' very quickly oh n im also big trans hater apparently because I wont call people by pronouns that sound lowkey sexual))) the only excruciating work I ever did on es was grind, grind and grind some more. Literally played that shit for hours a day, my only care in the world was being the best at planet popper and getting as many cloud sets as I could get my grubby hands on,,, like sure I had been quite eh into the discussions and stuff but like I let that go very quick n nn when I got banned it had been literal months since I had last been involved with any of those drama thingies but those kids don't forget a damn thing, they prob remember what they had for breakfast 5 years ago, n if not they can probably find documentation

was more because there was a time when people kept asking and I didn't feel like looking it up all the time, so no bad feelings towards it

like I can understand the harms of digital blackfishing, but that's honestly just the same issue everyone has to face on the internet when being part of a group that has been secluded in many societal structures. you have the same issue in every space right now, you have fake accounts doing that political bullshit everywhere. if you think you can take how someone looks on a profile picture as a point of reference on who they are, you just failed the internet. Scams and malice like this has been around even before the internet was a thing. And now people try to show these issues and use examples like how blackfishing affects the black community and how it's used to perpetuate racism. It's something the trans community is overly familar as well. But I've never seen or heard of someone being like "you have to make avatars that assign to your gender identity". Because let's be real, people claiming to have a different gender on the internet and acting as a whole different person just for brownie points or to get into a closed community is not new and is an issue in every safe space. it's why safe spaces aren't ever 100% safe. And it's not an issue only pertaining to one community.
