I don't know how much is to it, I just know that where there's kids, there's people looking to exploit them, so wouldn't surprise me that something like this might have happened, but I honestly don't think people uninvolved should be going around asking for proof and such like they have been doing on ES
if you suspect something, report it to the authorities, help affected people address it to the authorities and that's about what you can do about the matter as a regular user, just general internet safety teachings
