Maybe we should make a new word for biological women. Just to make it easy.
What about......... "consigned egg-bearer by birth"

totally easier.

No but really.
EVERY WOMEN ARE WOMEN!
If you were born with, let's say, a penis, but you're a woman - you're a woman
If you of some sort of cause aren't able to produce eggs, but you have a vagina - and you're a woman, you're a woman.
Biologically, we're all human beings. We are made of biological cells. Like, everything that grows or lives are biological. We just got different types of genitals so populate earth.

Gender is a social construct.
But you haven't actually defined what a woman is? Just said if you are one you are one. What exactly is a woman?
I guess that is different for everyone. I can't answer that, I just wanted to point out these things since I feel that they are important. Like, the full gender"chart" is a full spectrum, it's not black and white, it's a whole color spectrum. That's the only way I can explain it.
If it's different for everyone then how is this word even useful? What is it supposed to tell me? What information is supposed to be conveyed?

I don't want to generalize it. I really don't want to put it in folders.

just leaving a quote here from my queen

“...the end goal of feminist revolution must be...not just the elimination of male privilage but of the sex distinction itself: genital differences between human beings would no longer matter culturally.”

anyway, to the point of this thread.

what defines a woman is an internal dilemma, that is also influenced by external factors. though the woman herself might view herself one way, that view is shaped and distorted by how the world around her expects her to be/act/say in addition to the fact that how the world perceives a woman is inherently more different and biased than her own personal view.

with that in mind, i do not believe there are words to describe a woman herself. every woman is different; some have disabilities, some have bodies different from the '''''''female'''''''' standard, and some you wouldn't think are women. i have met plenty of butch women who get identified as men in their day to day lives; they are still women, they are still part of the all encompassing community that us women share.

however, what i do think defines a woman is a shared pain that we are all privy to. throughout history, women have been subjugated and treated as lesser than; the affects of this subjugation is still felt to this day.

in short, i think a woman is what she wants to be. but that we all have a shared burden under this patriarchy.

Except that it wouldn't be 100% correct because not all biological women carry eggs, illness and deviations happen.

But it's a word. Words are supposed to convey meaning. What meaning are we trying to convey with this word???

i agree with you. if someone says that they feel they are a woman, then they just are
and because the concept of "a woman" is not just a thing or two, it's more complicated and that's why it is hard to explain what "a woman" really is

They were still assigned egg-bearer by birth tho. Even if they can't fullfill that assignment.
