that album is a masterpiece and she is a genius that deserves more praise for what she did for women in music that song is a song i listen to when i need to feel hope.
Oh I agree. I discovered her thru Tori Amos. Ahead of her time and paved the way for so many great female singer-songwriters. 

I love Joan Jett for paving the way for women in rock, punk and inspiring riot grrrl as well

i tried to get into tori like a month ago, but i wasn't really feeling it. but i'm comparing everything to kate and i need to stop doing that i love björk tho. and yeah joan jett is awesome.

Also a big reason I like grimey is cuz I was discussing grunge w/ a former manager of mine and he called it grimey so i reclaimed it lol
