Is all sulfate free shampoos good for oily hair?
no not in my experience. some sulfate free shampoos tend to be too mild if your hair is very oily. but i would still recommend it if you can find a good one
theres a brand calld “OGX beauty pure n simple”  idk the only sulfate free shampoo iv found here

can relate my hair has always been super oily and i cant just "train" it to become less oily lol, personally what helps me a bit is using some like a hold/volumizing and heat protection product after showering and then blow drying ur hair, gives me an extra day before i HAVE to wash my hair

My only tip is to wash it less, makes it produce less oil. Takes a while for it to get used to it tho so you’ll have to go with some greasy hair in the beginning :-p

Less washing and brush your hair at least twice a day very thourougly to distribute the oils to the ends, so it doesn't add too much on the top
will take up to a month for the hair to get used to it and be less greasy though, so if you're looking for a quick fix, you won't find one

i mean if ur shampoo has a lot of sulfates that may be it, like try one with less or none. it may take some time tho for your scalp to adjust to it : )

heavily depends on ur hair type but i've been using that brand for a while now ( honestly one of the only sulfate free shampoos i can find too ) and its worked well for me ? went from washing every other day to like once every 4-5 days, would recommend

also dry shampoo ? life saver. especially when ur trying to train ur hair to go longer w/o washing, dry shampoo can and will give u that extra day inbetween washes
