Oh no, I'm completely aware of that. I'm just curious as to how or from who you learn it when it doesn't come from your family.

Reading some of the responses in this thread, I'm just wondering where you all "learned" that behaviour? Because I've grown up with very strict boundaries between clean and dirty, so for me it's completely natural that you need to wash your hands for example when you get home, and it's completely unthinkable that anyone in my family would do it differently.
we havent all grown up with strict boundaries. i remember as a kid whenever i was eating at a friends we were always told to wash our hands before we eat, and i thought that was so weird cus i never did that at home. kinda had to learn some basic hygiene by myself tbh Reading some of the responses in this thread, I'm just wondering where you all "learned" that behaviour?
