it's more like the ability to formulate ideas and gain wisdom from experiences and information your are supplied with
the higher your IQ, the higher your grasp on things based on more limited information
it's a very logic based concept
like, it doesn't tell you how much you know, but how fast you can understand things (and by that I don't mean like getting told something and then understanding that message, more like being given snippets of information like puzzle pieces and not only being able to understand what the whole puzzle looks like, but also being able to see the different things on the puzzle, even before you completed the whole puzzle)
Hmmm yes
I did take iq test when I was at neuropsychologist, n the areas where mostly like uhh, what words u knew (?) (i didn't know any lmaoo) n memory n the whole pattern thing etc (so not only the pattern thing) so ig its logic but also kind of how like uhhh, much u kno idk or mby that was for something else lol ?? Idk anyways
tbh, I don't know, it's been over 14 years since I took mine
I just remember that I had to tell a story, I had to see pictures and tell what was missing, I had to count blocks in pyramids (like there were blocks stacked and it was a 3d picture from one angle and I had to count them) and I had a 3d icture of a dice and had to tell which one of the 5 patterns below were the dice folded out and put flatly and I was timed on most of these things
but well, I was like 10 back then, so my memory isn't that good anymore about it and I couldn't even tell you how it worked for most of it
also the counting things and geographic exercices were the most fun, so I remember them best
Doesn't testing ur iq when ur a child give extremely high iq or something, like 200+ sometimes idk. Or ig thats only if they apply the special child thing idk
