though to be completely honest, I think at some point it would be best to just erase all the terms and roll with "you're you and I am me and we both do whatever shit we fancy, as long as it hurts no one" and don't need the labels anymore. I mean, we're not ham in the meat counter that needs to be labelled for someone to pick us, we can just do our own thing without having to justify our feelings
like i agree on like an utopian level in a way
but at things r now it think a lot of young ppl find reassurance in finding themselves in terms and finding out that the're not the only ones to feel that way.Ā

but to be fair, if we would allow people to just be themselves, young people wouldn't need to find something to identify with

When it comes to sexuality, most people act like it's something locked in that you can't change your perception of afterwards - though in most cases you might just have made an uninformed decision in the first place)
