we had a break in when i was home alone, and there was only one way out of the apartment (main door) and nowhere to hide, so i chased after him with a bat
we moved right after, and now we live a place where we can 1. get out the window 2. hide

damn I thought my family had bad luck with these things.... we have had 3 breakins but never when we were home. but rather that than to be home when it's done
