I cannot fathom how people refer to it as anything other than straight up ost or just the brand, it's really not necessary specifying the colour of it as brunost is the one that is specified and for fancy cheeses you would always always use the brand name or the type, like blåmuggost, brie, etc.

I cannot fathom how people refer to it as anything other than straight up ost or just the brand, it's really not necessary specifying the colour of it as brunost is the one that is specified and for fancy cheeses you would always always use the brand name or the type, like blåmuggost, brie, etc.
