To this day I'm more emotionally attached to that name than any other others, thinking about it literally fills my eyes with tears because I know how much he meant to people. Those stories exist about every single person who was there, the combined sorrow and loss .. I don't think we will ever fully understand. 
i somewhat knew a guy who died there. he was the ex (but still good friend) of a really good friend of mine. we sat up for 3 days waiting for his name to be listed amongst the surviving. then they found him, but on the killed-list. :c
i was ofc sad about it, but ive only met him a few times, so i didnt know him too well. but it made me very sad to think how my friend, and his friends, and his family must feel.

Yeah nah, it's horrible. And the political impact of it, I think honestly we are seeing the long term impact of Labour (Arbeiderpartiet) now as a lot of the up and coming stars either died or abandoned politics following it. It will take a long time to build up that again.

i read somewhere that young people became more active in politics after this. which i find good. but dont quote me on that tho. its gonna impact norwegian culture and politics forever.

Yeah, but a lot of people who were actively impacted by it abandoned politics.
