All the Attack on Titan openings made me feel like enlisting in an army to fuck shit up and become an actual nationalist- like yes be soldier be a hero dedicate your hearts save your people.  This stuff is hardcore and makes me feel like patriotic for a fictional nation where people have to fight giant human monsters.

This new one is like "Uhm actually war bad. Nationalism bad actually. Do not dedicate your hearts actually."

well one big difference is that isayama is overseeing everything about the anime so the oriiginal author actually writes the ending to the show lol
