well, we might be the same generation as them, we might not be, at this point it's too early to say and by the time it will be able to be determinated, they won't be 8 anymore. the reason many think it weird is because they see an age difference, they see that some are adults and others still children and then immediately make the decision that they are way more mature than those that are now aged 8 can ever be. it's all a matter of perspective
