at this point i wouldnt say im 'antifa' but im anti fascist you know? like against fascism. but antifa implies youre part of one of these militant groups at this point. if youre still identifying yourself as antifa youve accepted the violence thats been done in antifa's name
but what do i know about the american political landscape compared to vp im only actually an american lmao
how is antifa an american issue?
It didn't even start in the US
right again my initial comment was very clearly about antifa in the context of america so i assume anyone replying to me is replying within that contextÂ
idk how it became an issue here but its absolutely an issue here lmao if came here from europe then yall are exporting some embarassing political movments just like we are lmaoÂ
antifa started in the british punk movement i believe as a reaction against like neo nazi skinheads it was actually p cool culturally but then sort of started to morph into what it is now almost as a direct result of the alt right / proud boys etc where like all of the good things birthed by the occupy / arab spring / wikileaks / anonymous cultural moments were distilled into some weird culture of furries enacting some dystopian rebel fantasyÂ
