Hm im still friends w my other previous best friend who moved 3 hours away when we were 16 cus drug problems, but ofc we don't hang out that often but its all the same. Never rlly been big on communicating between hang out sessions either way,

I used to have lots of friends, but i gotten older and I am only holding on too those worth the time.

I met my best friend at school when I was about 10 or 11 years old, they had just moved there and we weren't super close at first, but we became much closer a few years later. Nowadays we live in different cities but we call to each other about once in a month or every other month. We haven't had as many deep conversations as we used to have for a long time but that might be just because we haven't seen each other irl for almost a year(thanks to covid). Also we've both had so many new experiences with new people that we've somehow grown and just don't share our lives as we did when we were younger, but that's okay.

So yeah, I feel we've become a bit more distant but I can still tell them about anything and always love to have a conversation.

my x best friend ditched me in 6th grade for the popular kids, and i am sure I have "varige men" because i am sure it has made me really skeptical about anyone who wants to get close to me b\c i just expect people to not stay bc i'm not good enough bc my xbff basically told me she didn't want to be with me anymore : )
