today i learned: we burn calories faster on our period!!! so it's actually bc u need it, that we want to eat more
same goes for chocolate, i cant remember what it is, but chocolate have something we are missing in ur bodies when we are on our periods, so that is why we can get chocolate craving, and therefore actually should be eating a little chocolate

im on my second period this month  im sick of it. ever since i changed my birth control its been so unpredictable. its supposed to be the same stuff, just a cheaper brand. but my god. went from having 0 periods to this. been bleeding all month with a 4 day pause
now you mention it, do you think using a different brand of birth control can effect other things too? i used to never have period pain when i was on the pill, but now.. omfg
but that sucks so fucking much
ive only been on two different pills. first cerazette, which i had no side effects on except it stabalizing my mood and the lack of periods. now im on desirett which the doc told me was the same thing but im getting unpredictable periods annd more mood swings than usual on. i dont know if its the pills or me, but theres a difference
i know people that take the same kind of birth control as me, but the brand for example im using (just the cheapest one, femicept) a lot of my friends cant use, so I think the brand can have an effect on that?

I stumbled upon it and read the list with the symptoms a few months ago while I was feeling like hell and I was like 'oh shit every symptom fits'.

No, people in my family had thrombosis and I don't want to risk anything (and I feel kinda icky about more estrogen in my body) . A girl I went to high school with was in a coma because of side effects and she has long term mental problems (learning disabilities,..), it's fucked up how it hasn't been publicly  known for decades what it can do.

Not like I really need it anyway especially during lockdown lmao

 u for real

there's always other things, but my mom, when she was younger, used to had a IUD and asked for it to be removed at the doctor and they didnt wanted to do it and honestly my experience with doctor trusting ME about how I feel is rlly bad, so rlly dont want to put anything in my body that needs to be removed, bc i dont trust the doctors enough to they will remove it if i wanted it removed before time..

yeah, she was in the local newspaper quite a bit after all that. I'm aware that those extreme side effects are rare, but I haven't been in a situation where I needed this kind of long term uh protection yet bc I'm very anti social and not that much into guys lmao.

Yeah that's understandable, being dependent on doctors sucks a lot! Hopefully there will be a better alternative soon, maybe all the awareness lately will lead to something better.

normally i HATE being on my period but being on birth control was fuckin worse. my bc made me bleed 2-3 weeks out of the month so having my period for a couple of days each month now is a walk in the park
