Yeah, I've had no issues since. I just used crutches for a bit and that bandage wrap stuff as a brace and it went okay. Dang, I hope your knee problems stay minimal! That sounds awful

luckily only one knee has been affected fingers crossed,
my mom it was both, she had both go out same time once. 
she developed arthritis and the doctors tell her shes "too young" for a knee replacement.
but her quality of life without it isnt great.
out of pocket she has to get cortozone shots when she can to keep the pain down n we in canada,
but I think you can only have them 2 time per year.
she told me not to get surgery cause it only caused her more pain.
