it might be better than what i thought, but what i remember is that it is about this girl that get sent to a old woman that binds books and she has to learn the skill. she's sorta stuck in that house and basement a lot.

the first one have a lot of history and travel and following generations and the beautiful culture of Istanbul (ft... vampire lore.. a bit, but the cultural visits are totally worth it)
and the second one is more like lighter, going to a new place travel
