idk if this is obvious but press your tofu to get water out before you marinate/cook it. otherwise it won't absorb any flavor n the texture will be wrong. there's tofu presses made for this purpose but you can use diy methods

if it's extra firm/firm press by wrapping in paper towel, cover with a weight of sorts, i use my cast iron lol.
like 10 mins then marinate, if you wanna mask the flavour. idk why people always say just soy sauce cuz that'll turn out way too salty.
it's been years since i've actually marinated tofu cuz after being vegan for like uhm 6 years i just learned to like the taste tbh. but like sesame oil, soy sauce, water, maple syrup, garlic powder, ginger, etc stuff like that. then fry.
personally when i use firm tofu i usually coat it in corn or potato starch mixed w pepper, salt, and garlic powder, then shallow fry in like 3 cm ish oil.

I don't like chicken, just prok chops, beef mby sometimes. Chicken meat grosses me out most of the time, cus even if its rinsed, I feel theres always something yucky left, like bone, cartilage, gross veins. No thanks
i dont eat pork, grew up w/o it and i could never get used to eating it and most of the time i even avoid it sorta tastes like sweat to me idk

ikr chicken is just nasty but yet not like i like my chicken clean and what i consider as clean chicken is like sausages, nuggets and very specific bites chicken fillet
If u think abt it, sausages from chicken is probably the least clean chicken meat u can get, but it still feels betetr cus at least u can't actually see or feel anything gross in it. Unless u get a random chicken toe in your sausage, or nugget
excatly
if i cant see it i can eat it

depends on tofu. i love tofu i eat it basically everyday
i like to eat smoked tofu just like that, cold from package on top of bread, silken tofu for smoothies, firm tofu depends sometimes i marinate over night or sometimes i'm just lazy and fry it with seasame oil, you can also put it on oven to dry it and then throw it to soup/sauce it absords flavors pretty well
omg ok but smoked tofu sounds rly good..

ya im not too much of a fan of soy sauce tbh
its way too salty but ive found some in my liking.. probably also the way they made the sauce

this sound good tho but since garlic brings up the flavors a lot and i dont eat garlic, hm would that ruin the whole thing? lol

about garlic: i dont eat garlic as it fucks up my bloodpressure.. its the only thing i literally cant eat anymore so if u mention garlic and if u have tried the same thing w/o the garlic lmk.

its a huge difference for those who dk. i literally had a cheeseburger not too long ago without garlic and its just.. there was no "wow" taste

soya, paprika & chili marinade after i've pressed it dry. then pat it dry again when it has soaked for some time.
egg it and roll in panko.
bake for 40 mins til either crispy or bursting. bon fucking appetite.
