Yeah lol, but u get what I mean, when ppl r a fan of art theyr are not usually so much invested in the person behind it (who would design their favorite artist), but when ppl r a fan of musicians or bands, they are usually more invested in the person, hence mby want to design the person/band merch n whatnot. Dunno, hard to explain but nonetheless
I think it also depends a bit on how recognizable or distinct they are in their style tho, like designing hitler nazi uniform vs designing mayhem era varg vikernes. Mayhem era varg vikernes just looks identical to every black metal dude ever, including a friend I had before 😭 Jimmu urine dude is a bit in the middle of the two but still

I think it would be tasteless to do a set based on him, just as I think it would be tasteless to do a set of Charles Manson (example).

Though I don't think a designer would necessarily be a bad person if they did a set on either of these people. If that makes sense?
