Yup it should have been planned further for sure but the seasons seems fairly locked in plot except its recurring evil in new forms and the part that tie them together so not surprised but like could have been executed better

season 1 is still the best season for me, even though it had a smaller budget, bc the vibe of that season was something that didn't have anything to do with budget. it was the novelty, the camaraderie, the 80s love-letter vibes. 

i personally didn't really care for the russia subplot (sorry hopper) and some of the dialogue was rather ... riverdale-y, but very very good for a teen horror show. definitely stress on horror since they amped that up this season. pleasantly surprised!
