THERE'S ONLY ONE TENT was in the book I read and tbh that book would have been rly good if it actually was a bonding and hiking story like it had potential

I read Maybe Someday. I hated the start of the book, and then it just got worse. There were also some yikes stuff in this one, and I actually thought some of the "romantic stuff" seemed borderline abusive. Also, the FMC was the love interest's second choice, because he chose his girlfriend over the main character, but when he got rejected by his girlfriend (because of the cheating) then he flew into the FMC's arms, while openly admitting he would always chose his now ex-gf over her. Yikes.

It actually was bad enough for me to go look up what normal romance readers thought of the book, and it seemed like most people hated Maybe Someday, but I actually saw a lot of good reviews for November 9, which a lot of people seem to rate as CoHo's best written book? ??

if N9 is her best, I'm worried since it is has typ 2 assualt scenes (one maybe edited out in later editions), a lot of controlling behavior, the bf belittling her over dumb stuff that if anyone said to me I'd literally want to die.
