How do you think a movie about Martin Luther King would be if they made him white?
I dont understand why you must race swap a charatcter if you have strong and beloved moves and stories about black people from the start.
Race would be very relevant in a movie about mlk though. The Little Mermaid is about .. mermaids in atlantis ,, maybe atlantis actually has a black population . Race isn't relevant at all there

The point is that people would love it more if they stoped swapping colors to get people to watch the movies. People wants to see more original stories and so on, the live action remakes has been bad revied for years. Many are wondering why its so hard to look up contents and stories and so on and create something new. No one says that the black people should not have their own movies or series. Meister wrote:
Alot of black people dislike this to because Disney took the easy and cheap road.
The Ariel brand are strong with toys and so on since it´s realease 1992. People want orgnial stories and so on, they could have done The princess and the frog, Atlantis, Hunchback of Nothre dame or Elena from Avalor. They have shows and movies that already has people of color.
Another thing with the new Ariel is that she dont need a man to care for, its going to be a modern twist and the orginal story is about her FALLING IN LOVE AND SACRIFICSES HER SELF AND TURNS INTO FOAM!
They fudged up Mulan brutal and i dont understand why they need soliders if she was the super woman that are Mary Sue that don´t need to work hard and prove that she can do things that a man does. In the remake she dont nees training, she can do everything from the start.x
wow slay i love it when ppl misrepresent the valid idea that poc should be allowed a larger space in media by greenlighting more projects by and for them in favour of being whiny babies who are to privilieged to understand the difference in turning a a character from an underrepresented group white vs allowing for more represntation in a movie that was previously all white due to societal bias and racism (that is historical context, despite usually being the exact same sort of people whining about context all the time)Alot of black people dislike this to because Disney took the easy and cheap road.
