In the process of trying to finish Invisible Women (I read about a quarter of it a few days back because I was just in a groove, but I think I'll try to read it for this month so I can start on something new)
Next book will be fiction though, because another non fiction right on top would just be a bit too much
after reading my first non fiction i have discovered i definitely prefer fiction, even though it was a good book
I generally prefer non fiction I think? I'm just VERY picky when it comes to fction, so it's easier to find non-fiction I enjoy
but this one is like ... 60% of the text is just quote after quote from studies and most of it is statistical numbers. It's a very condensed and heavy read just in general

I'm reading Dracula by Bram Stoker through a daily email type thing called Dracula Daily. Because the book is written in a series of journal entries, I receive an email with the corresponding journal entry for that day. So it's a neat way to read the book as the events in the book happen in real time. It's a lot of fun and I'm enjoying it a lot. :)

Hmm, is it a good book? Im 99% sure I own it from my mom owning it when she was a teen, but I never started reading it

I'd say it is, yes. Most people generally know how the story goes so it is sometimes predictable but even then, there were parts that had me on the edge of my seat. The only thing kind of annoying is there are characters in the book who have very thick British/Scottish/Cockney accents and Bram Stoker wrote them out to demonstrate that. So it can be kind of hard to read at times. Other than that though, it's been really fun to read.

I just googled it, and find it quite funny that Goodreads recommends very different similar litterature for the books.

Beauty and Misogyny seems very interesting though! I might start with The Beauty Myth, which seems to be more popular science, and then dig into Beauty and Misogyny as a deep dive afterwards.

I might be! It's more as an overall theme of what I call "feminist books" to shape arguments and understanding of the world.
