Yeah thats the usual way I think, idk w other parts of the country but where I live at least. But yeah they the same, cus u don't have that much freedom in choosing how it goes, u HAVE to include certain parts like religious singing songs I think, but usually u can choose to play some songs too (not just have them play the song (ew))
The first funeral I went to was completely atheist I think, so I guess it was very untraditional overall, no church involved in the slightest no religious singing at all, I guess his family knew him well enough to know what he wanted, or maybe he had planned it bc he had a health scare before his heart attack
