I think if its in the air and its its on seperate "thing" its a bridge. If its just a hollow building over a part of a road/path and its on the ground or under ground (in 90% of cases at least) its a tunnel. Like bridges are their own structure in another way than a tunnel is ? Idk how to explain but it makes sense in my brain
as in, it becomes a bridge once it leaves the ground? so the glass rectangle above would b a tunnel if it was ground level

No still brisge.if its between two parts, but if it was underground it would be tunnel. But if it was just a normal road or smth and it was a glass structure the same as this over the road on ground level it would be tunnel, because its not connecting two things

yea thats what i meant i think, if the glass structure you posted was on the ground n not on stylter, it would be a tunnel right
or do you mean its still a bridge cuz its connecting two buildings instead of being open on each end

It would still be a bridge I think, or idk, maybe tunnel, I would be unsure if it was on ground level

First picture tho, I can say it is a bridge AND a tunnel, and I can say it is a bridge only, but I can not say it is a tunnel only
