you just reminded me that i once stole a tiny rubber ducky in kindergarten and my teacher had a whole meltdown but they never found out it was me because the assistants (?) didn't search my bag properly bsebsbhe but my teacher literally interrupted class just to yell and search everyone's backpacks... wild...  it made getting away with it more satisfying i fear!
