Is that integrity? If I could push that same button I would do it in an instant. Not because I'm power hungry or want to be a leader or anything like that but only because I would want to improve my country and many of the problems here are solved so easily it's ridiculous. I would do it for the sake of helping my people because I do CARE.

He did very well at school when he was there. Parents couldn't afford to keep him there (very expensive) and he ended up killing himself . He was just a little kid. Not even a teenager. I can't remember the name but there was a documentary about it. How terrible. If only the justice system didn't fail him he probably would've been alive today. Rip little guy.

Yeah see we don't have these issues, the baseline is already close to perfect compared to many other countries so the stuff that is left is only opinions, not facts like proper schooling, healthcare and prison system etc helping ppl, cus we already have that

I already explained that the politcal parties mostly agree on what is statistically correct aka truth, like free school, free healthcare, rehabilitating prison system etc being good for the majority. I don't see why criminals should be refused healthcare. If you go to prison, you should be attempted rehabilitated, not exploited and neglected.

but that's not how it works, what u may think is right and should be changed may not be the right thing for another person. that's YOUR OPINION and that's why elections work with choosing who the majority wants to elect, but if the majority chooses something it does not immediately mean they're right. politics also work that way, they're a set of ppl with the same opinions in a party to be potentially elect by ppl with the same opinions.

let's set as an example that u hate gay ppl, and ofc bc that's YOUR opinion, you would change laws ab that and think that's a problem that "needs to be solved" to help 'your people' who are also homophobes, but I wouldn't bc in MY OPINION that's not right and would damage me and multiple others, which are 'my people' in that case. you would think its morally right to h8 gay ppl bc your convictions say so, but others won't and don't have to put up with it.

that's why no one in their right mind who's not driven by power would push that button, you talk a lot ab morals and ethics but would still push that button only to help yourself and the ones that agree with you only? based on what, a set of rules that won't matter in a couple thousand years? seems kinda selfish imo

It depends on the criminal. For minor things, I agree. If you get caught shoplifting as a kid, obviously rehabilitation is KEY.
