I feel like those people that just want to profit out of it are starting to ruint the experience
I mean, back in the day, AC was all about playing with your friends and having a good time
it kind of starts to feel now like it's just a gateway drug for all those that couldn't become stockmarket brokers but still want to make huge cuts out of other people's business

Yeah I totally agree!
Luckily, I have got a group of friends that are playing for the good thing which is to be with friends and visit each others island and help each other out when someone got a good price on turnips lol we even had a birthday party for two friends there, a fruit prom and a Disney princess prom which was really fun! 
The best thing tho was last week when I got around 500 bells turnip price and everyone came to my island to sell. One of my friends even time travel back to Sunday so we could travel between mine and his lmao
