I can definitely relate to that. I multi-task different jobs at different video game websites as this one - it gets tough. However, doing these jobs can bring brand new opportunities, such as making new friends and attending events and just overall having fun. It can get tough however when life gets in the way and i'm not able to do what i have to do, and when that does happen I get in trouble. I can't stop these from happening, and I get so much on my plate sometimes i miss something anyway. However, getting these new opportunities in makes the future of the job a lot more brighter, and even when I get this sort of stress, I like my jobs, and that should be the feelings people get when they get offered these opportunities, they should be honored that they get them, not unfortunate.
But that's just the thing - you care too much. I know people have their limits, but that shouldn't get you "ticked off" on a slight, common mistake. This shouldn't stop you from being responsible and respectful.
vp isn't very large scale so there may be some time before any event that you're hoping for becomes reality. But this is for a game, with people to deal with, unreasonably, even, sometimes. If it doesn't take a toll on the new admin, they would either be extremely understanding or too detached from vp to care about problems that would arise.
I get that any opportunities in life are gifts, to be used, but i really can't see how being the admin of vp could be a step up from just being a normal player, conversing. We both have the benefits, just one with more on their plate to deal with. As I've said before, there's alot you should think about before deciding to try (idek how that would work given the tight time frame this time), and if you hang around longer, maybe you'll realize that being admin isn't really a great position to be in.
I'd further argue but i need to sleep and I get your point. I should have been more responsible but it's 2:30 am and I'm tired, and your words gave off a feeling of thoughtlessness as I read it.
moreover, it's more like i care about how a system/logic is run. I'm not sure what common mistake you're referring to, but it was more like the lack of consideration I read off of you. This was a mistake on my part, I apologize.
Don't even get me started on the community of this website i work in areas at...
I'm honestly shocked at the community of VP, comparing to the other website, this community surpasses it with kindness
LARGELY.
I went onto a forum that was asking people to help a friend of the creator of the forum get started, and I had one of the dumbest ear-to-ear grins when I was looking through the comments, everyone was just so kind, and if someone either couldn't or didn't want to give the person anything, they said "Good Luck" which is far kinder than anybody in the other website would do. It just surprises me how kind everyone on this server is, and (Joking-wise) is the only thing that is stopping me from losing faith in humanity, because the world is getting ruder and crueler every day. (yeah that was a joke but the world is getting crueler every day)
Also, I accept your apology, and I get that it's 2 in the morning, and you should probably get some sleep... I also want to apologize as well- Sometimes I am a bit dumb-minded and dont use my brain, and I didn't consider probably 60% of what I read off of tezz's comment. I thought it was something that happened every year, since I didn't know anything last year, since I signed up this year. I didn't mean to start an argument, so I apologize.
we're pretty much a large fam community ahah :') when i define vp, i do so starting with community, so yes
