I once even found a statistic (ages ago) about how many pedohpiles are in treatment and actually kill themselves because they are so afraid of sometime slipping up or just hate themselves to such an extreme level.

as for pedophilia, i think there is a difference between a child molester/predator and a pedophile. i strictly believe that pedophiles who don't act upon their thoughts and urges should get mental help before they come remotely close to acting upon it, but if one eventually becomes a child molester they should just be dropped and be considered a disgusting person
