Also Netflix killed the 22 episode season and stand alone episodes and it made tv shows a lot worse and less enjoyable. (this and the fact that every producer no thinks that most people want tons of violence and character deaths and cliffhangers and plot driven episodes)
agreed. i h8 that all tv shows now all have like 7 subplots that interveawe, with one at best being ok ish written. i hate that so much tv tries to be much more than they are. like
the chilling adventures of sabrina the teenage witch. its literally the worst show ive watched, i hated every single second of it - but it was the only thing i had downloaded on my phone when i was travelling w no wifi, so i watched it all.
like bro, youre a monster hunter show. no need for it to be a deep story abt... something? its all muddled anyway, and it doesnt try to say something.
also i hate that episodes are 1 hour long.
normally im very fond of simplistic and imagistic art, art that just doesnt say anything more. but i dont like it when they try to say something and end up saying nothing.
