"Remorse"

That's an interesting concept, huh

Clem Grogan is the only person who has been released from prison after being convicted of murder in the killings committed by the Manson Family

Welp, give me a study on just killers then.

out of prison, and not rehabilitated killers"
The only thing I could find was in norwegian and it said 1 of the ish 30 murders that happened in 2020 was from an already convicted murderer, but there seems to be no statistics on how many of murderers murder someone else after being let out, only general reoffending rates. But I assume its not very high cus I have heard abt a lot of convicted murderers living normal lives, but not rlly a lot of murderers murdering again, tho that is probably connected to the low murder rates already
Ok. No studies outside of Norway either?
I don't know any countries w a better prison system than us so no, u can try finding it urself if thats what u want lol, but its fairly obvious it works when for example the us has a 7 times higher murder rate per million people than norway a year 🤔 like what r u confused abt lol. The us has higher rates because of poverty, lack of proper education and healthcare, and higher drug use, and also traumatize ppl in prison so they turn even worse. In norway, we do have proper healthcare and education already, but if ppl r sent to prison for murder n shit, they will get help for mental issues, getting work, learning trades etc, so when they will be let out again, they get into society again fairly easy, while in the us its very hard to integrate urself properly into society again, even if you want to, so ppl turn to crime again. Its not rocket science. Alienating people and treating them like shit doesn't make them motivated to do better, at least when there is no chance of getting out of prison at all cus the sentences are so harsh

Canadian serial killer Karla Homolka was released from prison in 2007 and remarried and had 2 kids.

Charlene Gallego was released from prison

Juha Valjakkala was released from prison in 2009

Sybrand ‘Louis’ van Schoor was released from prison in 2004 after serving 12 years in jail

Arnfinn Nesset was a norwedgian nurse who was released from prison after also serving 12 years and now lives under a different name

David McGreavy was released in June 2019. The parole board stated, “The panel will have carefully looked at a whole range of evidence, including details of the original evidence and any evidence of behavior change. We do that with great care and public safety is our number one priority. A psychiatrist confirmed that he was no longer a threat to the public, defending “his improved self-control and the fact that Mr McGreavy has learned to remain calm in stressful situations.”

Pedro Lopez, known as the ‘Monster of the Andes’, was released from prision in 1998 and remains free to this day

All of these people are classed as serial killers and all have been rehabiltated to the point where they could be released @Riddle

But you were the ones who made those claims, not me. I'm not interested in facts I already know. I was genuinely interested in those studies on rehabilitated killers that you were talking about because I hadn't heard of them before, but if you don't have them, I guess that's it.

I'm not interested in you going on another tangent about rehabilitation for petty crimes. I'm not arguing about that.

Im not talking abt petty crimes either lmfao, but there legit exists NO study on this in norway, cus we don't rlly have a lot of murders. Also I haven't talked abt petty crimes at all but u can think what u want lmfao, super glad u couldn't have pushed the button to become dictator of norway at least. One would think an uwuw moral and ethical person who really sees whats right and wrong would believe in rehabilitation and not treating anyone like animals no matter their crime, but what do u know lmao !! This feels like when shane dawson calls himself an empath

Yep both serial killers in norway were released (tho one of them died I think right after, idk) but the other dude (arnfinn nesset) hasn't done anything since. For single murderers, u have the well known example of varg vikernes , hasn't done anything since either, but doubt ur looking for specific examples

Then what type of crimes were you talking about? You say a lot vague stuff but don't share the details so what am I supposed to believe? If you are so sure of your studies you should have it linked by now. Some that are bad enough to put you behind bars but not murder... Could be A LOT of things.

"not treating anyone like animals" where was that empathy for all the victims of these criminals?

I'm on the side of the victim. I doubt the victim would be happy knowing their killer was strolling around the neighborhood like nothing had ever happened.

Its good they get put in prison then lol, I would def be happy if my murderer got the help they needed instead of rotting away for some type of revenge. Its the principle of things hahah, treat ppl like humans and they will treat u like a human back. Treat them like shit, and they will treat u like shit back. Its easy enough to see regardless of studies, but u can gladly show me some studies that prove ur point of view also. I say a lot of vague shit apparantly, but all u say is pretty much nothing so lmfao

I would recommend you to listen to some testimonies made by the victims and their families and maybe you will get a better understanding. They are pretty intense and emotional. Not the loving kind that wishes the criminal good luck and for them to get help, if you catch my drift.

I think it's much better to say "pretty much nothing" than to put out bold claims without being able to back them up so thank you!

Jordan Peterson's comment about making sure to clean your room is totally accurate.
I'm quite a messy person in general but having a clean, organized place feels good. It puts me at ease.

I think it's sad how easily manipulated people are. Getting brainwashed by social media every day without knowing better.
