it's surprising to me in retrospect how much i did as a teen compared to other people i interact with because my mother always accused me of never doing anything

haha you have aph norway vibes actually.  I dont think any of the stereotypes were all that accurate, at least not from a western perspective, i always preferred the dub because at least there were some jokes that played into that a bit more if i remember right
