cheese is such an elaborate subject cause when i talk abt cheese im talking abt gulost which translates to yellow cheese, but yellow cheese in america is cheddar n that aint it n some ppl call it hvitost, but white cheese aint it either

but then again maybe all norwegian gulosts arent the same cheese
to be fair i dont know cheeses

but on the topic of gulost, synnøve and jarlsberg are 10/10

but also what IS gulost in english? is gulost a common thing in all countries or is it a nordic thing? cause i feel like if u talk cheese in for example america, they dont eat cheese like we do with a whole block of mild delicious gulost that u slice thinly and have on ur bread, there the cheese is either cheddar pre-sliced or cheeses u cut chunks and eat with grapes and crackers

i honestly love cheese

it's *hvitost omg im so triggered
kvitost

that works too
anything but gulost, god forbid
sounds like gulsott

you're not really supposed to fit the entire cheese in it. you just slice one side first and then the other so it evens out
