It's fair to call Americans "dense", because it's clear that it refers to those dumb enough to think the Norwegian flag is racist, but this takes it a bit far. :I
Dense and thick mean the same thing mate. Also, how is it not clear I'm referring to the same shit?
The way you worded it starts to read more as aggressive and generalizing an entire country.
That's all I'm saying.
Well I think it's just as reductive and generalizing as the original comment.

Well, you aren't wrong. Even off of Twitter, Americans tend to assume their world is the same as everyone else's.
I wonder if they ever try to tell Europeans that they can't handle spice?

I get that and even the original comment had me raising an eyebrow wondering where it'd get taken from there.
I should've worded myself better too, because I don't think I explained myself that well.
I still don't see using insults as necessary (comparing to "pig shit" ), because it tends to only be acceptable if it's directed at Americans and I doubt it would be taken well if it were directed at any other country that many VP users are from.
That's why I felt it was a bit much.
Not trying to continue some sort of argument here, just want to explain where I was coming from.

I understand, I agree but I still stand by my point. I'm speaking from my experience alone but Americans tend to be, on average, more ignorant than people from any other country. Again, this is from my experience alone so it doesn't really mean shit.

I wouldn't disagree with you on a lot of them being ignorant. It's definitely more often than not that it's an American online acting like they know everything about topics they have no experience with.
Also have to witness that ignorance at my work on occasion (especially rn with covid and wearing masks).
People here will literally compare wearing a mask to how Jews were treated during WW2... It's gross.

As A jEw, yes, I fucking hate that please stop you fucking privileged degenerates. Also, Americans have a tendency to be very proud of and vocal in their ignorance, which is disgusting to me.

Ugh yeah, I personally haven't dealt with one of those people that thinks that's okay.
My mom was working as a cashier in a store where masks are required and she overheard an elderly man try to say that the store's policy is comparable to 1940's Germany (he said the actual term, I'm just not sure if it's cool for me to say it here).
If I were there I would've been like "If you're sooo oppressed where's the star of David patch so we know what you are?"
That kind of shit wouldn't pass in Germany I'm sure.

Naz, Germany? Yeah I think it's fine to say. Also, it's more like "ooh you're so oppressed, where's your history of murdered ancestors to backup your claims, fuckhead?". I'm not sure at all it wouldn't pass in Germany, it's still quite anti semitic, they're just good at hiding it. Not as much as Poland, but still.
