well that is if you determine your worth out from how much youre worth to those kinds of people, but you can also determine your worth from how much you matter to your loved ones and friends

But in reality, Medical Transcription estimates, the average price of a human dead body is more likely to fetch around $550,000 (with a few key body parts driving up the price). If you want to legally sell your heart in the U.S., it can be purchased for about $1 million. Livers come in second, worth about $557,000 and kidneys cost about $262,000 each. Not to speak about human skin ($10/inch), stomach ($500) and eyeballs ($1,500 each). Unsurprisingly, organs are offered for less on the black market: maybe 10 percent of the above prices"

hey at least we are all worth something right
i must sell one of my kidneys
im unsure about how you would safely execute that transaction
how to trick doctors into removing one of my kidneys and then after they sew me back into place i get up, take my kidney and run

obviously i would die from infection and probably get fucked over by the doctors for getting up and running and also apparently taking a kidney would be a biohazard and also why would i remove a kidney without a reason

therefore this could only happen in my perfect world

i think that is the more empathetic and better way to determine worth probably but also worth is prolly just a construct since it's determined by other people and society and whatnot idk

i like this

but what if your resource isnt like.. public. ur just acing school but not contributing to society in any way
i guess one could argue that being social could be like 0.1% contributing to society

this makes no sense i have to learn how to formulate my points lol
