no not in my experience. some sulfate free shampoos tend to be too mild if your hair is very oily. but i would still recommend it if you can find a good oneĀ
theres a brand calld ā€œOGX beauty pure n simpleā€ Ā idk the only sulfate free shampoo iv found here
heavily depends on ur hair type but i've been using that brand for a while now ( honestly one of the only sulfate free shampoos i can find too ) and its worked well for me ? went from washing every other day to like once every 4-5 days, would recommend
My hair is thick n long, which one of them do u recommend?@KitĀ

ahh idk i've only used the biotin & collagen one, and recently switched to coconut curls now that i can find it ? i rly liked both of those, wld probably recommend the biotin/collagen one if u have straight hair and coconut curls for curls / waves ?Ā
the coconut one is a lil heavier so i tend to use it without conditioner bc of that but ya idk
i think they probably also have formulas specifically for oily hair ?Ā

o ya thats functionofbeauty or whatever someone mentioned them earlier too
cannot vouch for them but i've heard good stuff ? ( but they're also one of those brands that sponsor a ton on insta/fb/yt/etc. so i don't always trust ppl's recommendation of them either )

I've tried it once, it was good but i have a student budget so now I just use drugstore products and my hairdresser gives me hair product gifts sometimes cuz she feels bad for me lol

god i hate all these people saying wash less
oily is a hair type. you know what happens when you naturally have oily hair and start washing your hair less? its get stinky and will fall out

go to reddit.com/r/dailywash for more tips on ppl who have accepted washing as little as possible does not work for them

no bc when they say dry hair they mean the hair strand itself is dry bc it lack something i forgot what is called and rn your hair is oily bc your scalp produce too much oil. its two different things and you can have too much oil produce which causes oily hair and also have dry hair at the same time (like me). i would say go 4 it.
