i haven't built any that are more than like a hundred. the ones i like are the Real Grade kits they're small like six inches tall but very detailed. unit 01 here was a hundred american dollars. some High Grade kits are only like twenty bucks it's really not that expensive when you get started with the easier HG kits. probably almost half of these were gifts from my mom. she follows my amazon wishlist and if she finds out i ran out of kits to build shell send me whichever one she thinks looks coolest. it's the Master Grade and Perfect Grade kits that get really expensive and I just haven't done any of those. The end result is a taller figure and I just like the scale of the HG and RG kits. I'm sorry if this looks like I'm speaking greek a bit lol. But I do WANT to do a master grade at some point they just keep putting out RG kits that I want first lmao.

and like i wasn't EVEN going to get the eva ones i was gonna wait until christmas and pray someone else got them for me lol but doug fucking peer pressured me into using my Trump Bux on it. on average the kits that I buy are about 30-40 bucks. and they take me a while to build i really feel like i get my money's worth of like entertainment out of them.  like youre not just  buying a toy youre buying an activity and a toy all at once.

im friggin dying for that one- when Doug was playing Metal Gear V and I saw this robot I was like 'fuck that's cool i want to build it' and i can but it's literally so expensive.  like i look at robots different now- i think to myeslf how would you build it.

or like the Bear Guys kits are cheap i've done one of those. like less than ten bucks those would be a great starting point for anyone getting into the hobby. minimal investment and tehyre adorable. so it doesnt like HAVE to be super expensive but yea the more it costs the more detail in the kit the more fun it is to build typically lol.

omg that sounds like so much fun. i feel like if i got a complicated one id just hyperfocus on it and forget to eat lmao. it seems like something youmd get completely zoned into, also like gives u a sense of pride, bc it isnt just a statue u buy its also self-assembled
