theres ethnic jewish and theres religion jewish. it's a religion AND/or it's an ethnic group.  you can be jewish without being religiously jewish and if you have one jewish parent you can be half jewish.

The idea that Jews were genetically inferior is Nazi propaganda. Ashkenazi Jews and Mizrahi Jews share a more similar DNA than Ashkenazi Jews and Europeans because of hundreds of years of seclusion (I think that's the right word? Couldn't find the right translation from Hebrew) and inbreeding.

it's very problematic to not have two separate terms for this because in my head jewish refers to a person who is following judaism to some degree, and not an ethnic group of people
