I normally collect all the boxes I get from ordering things all year, the paper sheets or whatever is inside it to keep it safe (not those plastic pillows or those pieces of things i dunno what it is called like isopor just bigger. I also just don't really buy new paper unless I am empty, and now I just buy brown paper and decorate it with natural stuff or other Christmas deco stuff we have from previous years. If I can reuse wrappings from last year depends on the quality of it really, and how it looks after I open them. Like these bags clothes and stuff often come in is easy to reuse since they normally keep well. If it's good quality paper I'm usually careful and save it for next time. This year I also came into a lot of things as "inheritance," so I have a big roll of brown paper from that that probably will last me years.
i always struggle to find stuff to pack in for christmas. so i always regret throwing out boxes. luckily i can get boxes from work. we get a lot of different size ones c: but i really wish i was better at keeping paper n stuff. and next year i might invest in a roll of brown paper too. i think it looks so pretty. i just wanna be better at decorating them cx
I'm not very good at decorating or wrapping, so I just use what we have really and that will be it. This year the standard package is wrapped like this
i. in brown paper (inherited) with paper tape (mine)
ii. with some straw-like bond around it (inherited) or some other thread we have
iii. with one of those unused Christmas cards we have laying aroundĀ
iv. with a dried orange as decoration (that i made last year thanks to kruspersille)

i am considering putting a chilli on someones package just for fun tbh like i am drying the ones i had leftover from the pickled onions i madeĀ
could be pretty with a small piece of like spruce twigs or someting as well? c: ive seen that on gifts in pintrest.

This is some of ours thus far stacked into the cover by a provisory tree (i dunno how to make that plant like me tbh it has just slowly disintegrated since i got it last year). I also have like the majority of mine in the basement because they are foods that need to stay cool. also i'm sorry most of what u r seeing is my sis ugly ass wrapping

maybe stuff like pinecones n stuff can be tied with a string (like jute thread) and wrap it with that thread? idk. or use thin sowing thread to stitch the smaller items to the thread.Ā
just an idea, idk if it works.
