is there text or just pics
there's a lot of pics! most of them full page spreads. it's on different medical devices and illnesses so that's why it's gory. but every pic has accompanying text so it's informative too. you can google for some examples

I was reading it in the car n I got car sick on the way to ikea lmfao 
but yeah I mean, it was from the 80s so mostly just mysteries n stuff, stone henge, aliens yeah, mummy curse, all that stuff

And it was a childrens book so I feel like it couldn't b that complicated
