The copper filler has been fine for me for a hand rings but I wouldn't trust it for body jewelry as that goes through my body.
There are different grades of 316L
You'd be looking for astm-316L
If it doesn't have that in front of it, it's regular steel.
Low quality brands like body Candy try to lie about stuff like that.
There's a reason it goes against my shops policy's to insert it.
I can't seem to find any information about the difference between astm-316L and just 316L, or any information about what astm 316 means for piercings, for that matter. Do you happen to know of any online resources that can explain it to me? With all due respect, I'd rather have my information from multiple sources and not just some person on the internet.

Okay from what I read 316L (which is the type of surgical steel the bee is) is implant grade, so I think I'm good with that. As for the other one, it's silver which scared me but I could just wear it in my ear. I'd love to know what you (Kieren) as a professional think about silver though.
As long as it's really silver 100% silver, problem is my old jeweler and most jewelers either add nickle(severe allergies are normal with nickle) or copper for filler.Okay from what I read 316L (which is the type of surgical steel the bee is) is implant grade, so I think I'm good with that.
