Like I think the guy just went crazy at a certain point, bombs are not the most sophisticated way to prove something and the strategy behind it was off too and like what did he think would happen? People being so afraid of his bombs that they stopped developing new technology? Why did he think it would bring him sympathy if he killed people and that society would change dramatically.
Or was it more like some fucked up coping method?
he thought if he bombed the right people at the right time society would crumble basically, which isn't too far off

like fucking snow took a whole state in the US down because the power plants couldn't handle it imagine if you took down 1 or 2 major internet providers and like a major CDN

The one i watched was "unabomberen: den gale sandhed" assuming it's something like that in norwegian too.

But if it's the one i remember he ones met the neighbors daughter and he had scared her or something? I'm really not sure, but should be in the documentary if so.

I wish it was as easy as that, but this whole late capitalistic ideology has such a grip on society that it is almost impossible to built a new order (gross word but idk how else to describe it) even if lots of people die, COVID being a prime example of that, people don't care because they see things that are 'unnatural' to humans as personal freedom and are willing to sacrifice others for it.

Oh yea, looking at the documentary he had written in his dairy "it's easier to take that little bitch out, but then the big bitch would get away" and that is about a his neighbor and her kid.. so I'm not to sure

This is just me specularing, but ion think his morive w the bombs were killing ppl (I might b wrong but) he was a smart man so I think he would have figured out a better way to make them cus they weren't rlly killing a lot. I think it was more for injuring ppl then causing mass "hysteria" to get the attention he wanted for his work and ideology (?)

Anyway, I feel like people always focus too much on the human faces of a certain ideology even tho those don't matter in the bigger picture, and this whole cult like following forming around those people is a weird manifestation of a new leader cult based on personality rather than the philosophy they represent which is per se a dangerous thing.

Do I make sense here? Probably not, sorry.

Idk i think he snapped and went downhill to be honest, can't justify anything he does, even if it was to share a message.
