might be, i don't think you could pull that off in finland because they always ALWAYS ask for the receipt and print u a new one

it depends really, usually they're like yes we have this product and it looks like a production flaw thing so they'll just report it to whatever and get the money for it so there's no loss in it for them anyway
i've complained on a lot of products the last few years, a ps classic (had lost the receipt except i had registered the buy on my membership card thing so it was fine), two moomin mugs, a moomin pitcher, my computer, my headset .. sometimes with reicepts (electronics) but not on the other things
