i hope your day goes well! Are you a fan of zoom classes? I didn’t like mine very much and this college actually never went fully online apparently. It sounds bad but it’s a tiny school and they’re very on top of testing, vaccines, quarantining the sick, etc. so we don’t get many cases here

congrats to making the audition !! i love moving to new cities even if it's scary, hope u make loads of friends! i did the same thing 2 years ago and it went just fine! have 3 closer friends atm

thank you! hmm idk i prefer being in a physical classroom but on the other hand, nice to not have to wake up so darn early everyday! i've gotten a bit lazy i think but i'll adapt in time after we start studying at the uni again (preliminary they have said that students will be able to visit the campus again the 8th of november but we'll see !)

but i get you, it's so hard to keep listening sometimes when the zoom class is boring, which is way more often than normal classes since a lot of feeling disappears through the computer..

Yeah I can definitely agree with the waking up early part. I went from 1pm zooms to 8ams across campus and waking up at 6. That’s been a transition, haha. True, it’s harder to stay focused for me during a zoom class and the feeling does tend to get lost. I also missed just getting to talk to people in person.

hmm, i've a lot of different feelings i guess... feels good and "right" but also scared of studying 9 months straight with no "real break" until next summer. anyway, trying to focus on the positives and looking forward to getting my own place again (which i do the 23rd) !! there are a lot of great things to enjoy which are all connected to school

getting to have small talk with people was waaay more giving than i ever realised before covid haha, so i'm excited for that too! i'm glad u got to have atleast some physical education during these times, it must have helped with adapting to it all i guess

it's nice to hear that you feel like you're in the right place! It's very understandable with the fear of not having a real break for a while, but remember to take the breaks you need in your day to day as well, even if all you need is 20 seconds just to breathe 🤍 ah, that's exciting!! have you seen the place yet? and did you end up getting to a decision in terms of your subjects?

i'm very much looking forward to begin again, honestly just to feel like there's a purpose with each day and that i have someplace to be. this is my final year of this degree, and likely also my final year as a full time dancer, which is a bit bittersweet. so this year I'm just gonna focus on living in the moment and cherish every day and really take in the fact that i get to do what i love the most every single day. some days are going to be harder than others, but I'm ready to give it all i got!

that's actually good advice, i try to avoid studying during the evenings (so, after i've eaten my dinner) which is helpful !! noo i haven't seen the place, i just know how big it is and that it's still being built so i will be the first one living there (feels very nice !!)

and i'm still trying to figure out what orientation to pick out of the two, but i am leaning towards business law atm.... hopefully we will get some information about the two and their pro's and con's before we have to decide !!

aah there's just something with experiencing "the last" of something that makes it even more enjoyable, i'm glad u notice/acknowledge the fact and are going to try to make the most of it! it sounds like you'll have a great year, being a full time dancer seems like so much fun (yet demanding of course).

i can rly relate to how much of an impact it has to have a purpose and having somewhere to be everyday. it's also nice to evolve and improve, which is almost inevidable when you're in any type of school !! great things to come 💛
