The general system for designs isn't very newbie friendly unless you already have a keen eye for observing what's in game as well as picture references. I personally do think that art tutorials in general help a lot, many designs could lack the contrast or sense of shape u could develop from learning from general art tutorials. The issue could be that ppl find it hard to apply it on vp and that's understandable since vp works with a specific format.

Designing requires patience, expect to spend anything from 3 to 20 hours depending on your process, skill and style te he he :3

i haven't been around to see ur designs but usually different teams look for different stuff which could have been an explanation  unless it was the same team then oh rip
