It seems like self-entitlement to me like why would u even expect someone to offer u food tbh. Bring ur own food if u haven't planned on eating there in advance or ur not staying there through multiple meals. Seems normal imo to offer ppl food if they are there for a lot of hours and theres multiple meals in that time span, but even then I don't expect getting food tbh, I usually bring my own food unless we have planned to make smth together

yes thats why they dont feed them, fat guests are not very nutritious so they keep them on a fasting stomach

when i was vegetarian i did not expect for other families to accomodate to my needs ??? 
pls what
even if those people did that because they were stingy assholes its like.. one incident doesnt speak for the entire country and the populations culture lol. i was a vegan for like 5 yrs and not only did i not expect people to accommodate for me (especially if i don't inform them of it beforehand) but in most cases, people still tried to do their best to provide for me as their guest

and also at the end of it all: no one actually owes u anything even if u are a guest. its just general hospitality which most people will offer

How old are they? My granparents been like 60+ typ all my life. Grandma made food, grandpa worked in the garden.
