I love that i got so many mixed responses. ✍️

im leaning towards no. I feel like i would regret it and feel so ashamed but its so tempting
obciously alcohol does something for people since its so popular. It does make me feel left out but since when is the majority always in the right??

ahhhhh so many thoughts 🦀
this is what im trying to get at. You dont need to get drunk, you dont need to drink regularly or at all, i dont think you should open the alcohol you have on hand with the intention of getting drunk if thats not something youre interested in (and if you are, u should probably not do it alone). What im saying is that getting over the mindset that there is some sort of prestige in never having had a sip, is a good thing, because it allows you to join in on the conversations and whatnot. Like not in the sense that you need to drink alcohol with other people, but if someone asks if you want a beer u can say you dont like the taste, or if someone orders a drink and talks about the flavour you can have a sip to taste because you no longer have that mental wall up.

im not really trying to argue that you should start drinking.
The reason i want to try drinking is to get a little tipsy/feel different. I wouldnt want a sip just for the taste (then i could just try something new that isn’t alcohol)
there is nothing wrong with wanting to get a bit tipsy in a controlled environment either .

the thing im getting at is that you dont seem like youre giving yourself option by acting as if theres a before an after ever having tried a sip.

Well if thats the case then you should start by thinking a lot about it. I dont think trying new unfamiliar things are to any particular help but i dont think staying away from it is either. You have to practice self control and if you think youre prone to different types of addiction then i think its good to talk to a therapist about it. Maybe they would advise you to stay away from alcohol or other things or maybe encourage you to try it just to help with self control?
I’m definitively not supposed to drink alcohol lol but that’s not only because im easily addicted. Hehe 🥴

But thanks  for your advice! I don’t think i would get addictwd from just trying Witherspoon but i can see its easy to get into bad habits
Yeah i think thats a good mindset to have! Just dont drink a lot haha, you probably wont though since alcohol always tastes bad in the beginning
Thank you C:

mam it is a consumable liquid
Once i accepted the liquid into my body, there will always be a trace of it no matter how much time has passed or if i attempt to replace it with the most purest of water. I Will forever be known as somebody that had consumed alcohol 😓
this is so stupid sorry

At least you’re showing your true colors now.

Do you understand that not everything should be read as literally true?

It is hard but what’s the alternative? Letting go of all my values and morals?
